Max’s RC Car Wall Mounts - 1:10 & Larger
Max’s RC Car Wall Mounts
Designed by Max and made for displaying your favourite RC cars properly.
Our RC car wall mounts are 3D printed using a dense infill, making them exceptionally strong and dependable. We have tested them with a growing collection of RC cars and, so far, we haven’t had a single mount fail.
They provide a simple way to get RC cars off shelves, floors and workbenches while turning them into part of the room’s display.
Available Colours
The mounts are available in a growing range of colours.
We are constantly expanding the selection, but if there is a particular colour you would really like, please get in touch. We may already have the filament available or be able to source it for you.
Choosing the Correct Size
Mounts are available for the following approximate outside tyre diameters:
- 70mm
- 80mm
- 90mm
- 100mm
- 110mm
- 120mm
Measure directly across the complete tyre at its widest point. Do not measure only the plastic wheel or rim.
Some Tamiya cars have different-sized front and rear tyres, so measure the tyres that will sit in the wall mounts before ordering.
Tamiya Compatibility Guide
70mm Mounts

- Mercedes-Benz Actros MP4 Racing Truck

Most DT-02, DT-03 and DT-04 buggies use approximately 80mm front tyres but larger rear tyres, usually around 86mm. The Neo Fighter and Fighter NXGEN, for example, use 27 × 80mm front tyres and 41 × 86mm rear tyres.
The Rising Fighter also uses 80mm front tyres and approximately 86mm rear tyres.
Please measure carefully, as an 80mm mount may only be appropriate for the front axle on these cars.

- 1990 Land Rover Defender 90
- Mercedes-Benz G 500
- Toyota Land Cruiser 300
- Toyota Land Cruiser 40

Tamiya specifies 90mm tyres on the standard CC-02 trail-truck setup.
They may also suit some vintage and reissued buggies with tyres close to 90mm, but measuring the actual car is recommended.

The Toyota Bruiser also uses approximately 123mm tyres.
Important Compatibility Information
This guide covers common factory tyre sizes, but Tamiya models are often modified with alternative wheels and tyres.
Tyre dimensions can also vary slightly because of:
- Different tyre compounds
- Foam inserts
- Age and wear
- Manufacturing tolerances
- Aftermarket wheels and tyres
- Previous-owner modifications
For the best fit, always measure the outside diameter of the tyres fitted to your actual RC car before ordering.
If you are unsure, send us the model name and a photograph showing the tyre measurement, and we will help you choose the most suitable mount.
