Radiotherapy isn’t exactly glamorous, but you do end up with a mask at the end of it. Thank you very much, cancer—always giving!
I’ve seen lots of Facebook posts asking what people do with their radiotherapy masks, so I designed a secure mounting receiver based on the fitting used on the radiotherapy bed.
The original brackets on your mask simply clip into the receiver, so no cutting, drilling or modifications to the mask are needed.
The back features a countersunk mounting hole, and each receiver is supplied with:
- Short fixings for mounting to wood, furniture or display boards
- Longer fixings and wall plugs for mounting directly to a wall
- Full fitting instructions
- 5 Adapters provided
- 3D Printed
The photos show the mount being used as part of a light fixture, which I’ll be releasing shortly. Please get in touch and I’ll happily explain how it works.
I can also make a complete display board for you, fully assembled and ready to use, provided you can get your mask to me. Alternatively, I can help you create a template so everything is positioned correctly.
